Iedereen die wel eens een film of serie download is bekend met het XviD formaat dat ook door de PlayStation 3 en de XBox 360 word ondersteund. Nu heeft de warez scene (bestaande uit de grote release groepen) meeting gehouden en besloten om de regels die er zijn te veranderen. Want XviD heeft zijn langste tijd gehad en word deze ingeruild voor het x264 formaat. Nu zou je zeggen van: Ja dus....?? Dat houd in dat je betere beeld kwaliteit gaat krijgen voor dezelfde grote.
