Infinity Ward heeft zo juist een dubbele aankondiging gedaan voor de nieuwe Call of Duty: Modern Warfare3 Elite content. Want op 16 maart verschijnt de eerst volgende package met een nieuwe multiplayer map en twee spec-ops missies. Maar voor wie geen Elite heeft kan vanaf 20 maart deze content als de MW3 Content Collection #1 kopen. Dit is voorlopig alleen voor de Xbox 360 bezitters, de PlayStation 3 eigenaren krijgen op een later tijdstip wat extras toegestopt. Any way, hier zijn de screens en de intel.

Double barrel announcement today for MW3 players on Xbox 360. Barrel one: If you're a Call of Duty Elite premium member, there's a date for the next Elite content drops - numbers 4, 5, and 6 will all hit Xbox 360 March 13. This includes the multiplayer map Black Box - wherein Air Force One crashes in Southern California - and two Spec Ops missions, Negotiator and Black Ice.

Barrel two: The following week, March 20, all six of the first Elite content drops will be available for purchase to all Xbox 360 owners as the MW3 Content Collection #1. No price was mentioned in the press release; I'll ask, but sometimes they don't like to say until the day it's available.

And of course, the press release notes that all this content "will be made available on other platforms at a later date." When I know that date, I'll let you know, as always, but in the meantime, the Content Calendar has been revised to show loose schedules for both Xbox 360 and PS3. It also shows 22 pieces of content, not just 20 - so that's interesting...

A reminder that if you decide to join Call of Duty Elite now, you automatically get all the previously released content as well, and you will get to keep all that content after your subscription ends. This is not a rental; this is prepaying it at a discount and getting it earlier than other people on your platform.
