Gisteren was er een Electronic Arts Showcase en daar is de trailer van de Mass Effect 3 Leviathan DLC, en deze zal ons laten zien waar de Reapers nu precies vandaan komen. Het goede nieuws is, dat deze content nog deze zomer uitkomt voor alle bekende systemen.

"Something lurks in the dark corners of space, something powerful enough to kill a Reaper. Shepard must discover the most closely guarded secret in the galaxy before the Reapers silence it forever. Discover more about the origins of the Reapers as you race across the galaxy to find the Leviathan. Unravel the dark history of the Reaper Race before it is too late."

Leviathan's plot is set in the midst of the Mass Effect 3 story, prior to the game's ending. The "Reaper origin story" will allow players to "explore uncharted systems and new areas on the Citadel" and "interact with brand new characters." Additionally, players will unlock the AT-12 Raider shotgun and M-55 Argus Assault Rifle as part of the downloadable content. The Leviathan DLC will land on Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 later this summer for $10.
