Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011) was een bar slechte film, maar Nicolas Cage is simpel weg baas. Maar nu is er de onderstaande video verschenen met 11 minuten aan deleted scenes, en daar in zien we Cage zonder de SFX, maar met een geschminkt doods masker op en zwarte contact lenzen. Dit deed hij om goed in zijn rol te komen. Juh, onze held en koning der pruiken is bat shit insane.

In order to believe I was the character on some level and not feel completely absurd, I would paint my face to have skull makeup. So I'd use black and white paint. I would black out my eyes so you'd see no white, no pupil, with black contact lenses. I would walk on the set looking like that, and I wouldn't say a word to anybody. So it was just very uncomfortable for everybody, and that made it so like I didn't have to act because I could see the fear in their eyes, and then it was just like oxygen to a forest fire, where I I just believed I was the Spirit of Vengeance.
