Zoals we allemaal wel weten voeren hackers en console makers een epische schaak battle waarbij steeds een zet en weder zet wordt gedaan. Vandaag maakte Team-Xecuter bekend dat ze werken aan een nieuwe hardware hack die anders is dan de huidige JTAG en RGH hacks. Alleen zoeken ze nu een zogenaamde Xenon console die nog niet een RROD reparatie heeft gehad. Ik durf te wedden dat Microsoft hem nu behoorlijk aan het knijpen is. Maar zo snel er meer nieuws bekend is over deze hack, dan kan je dit uiteraard gelijk hier op Eigenwereld.nl lezen.

Xecuter has a new hardware based hack for homebrew. So far we are booting Xell on Zephyr, Falcon, Jasper pretty much instantly. All dashboard versions - in fact it is required to update to the latest version anyway

We need a a few solid working Xenon's that haven't had an RROD repair. Not just the board, the entire unit.

FYI the hack isn't final yet, but we are extremely close (months and months of work have gone into it). Results so far have been spectacular and we are very happy with it
