Hoewel de Terminator franchise behoorlijk dood is, zijn er nog een hoop die hard fans (waar van ik met de eerste twee films) die maar niet genoeg van de moordlustige robots uit de toekomst kunnen krijgen. Nu waren de games in het algemeen (behalve die uit het 16-Bit tijdperk) behoorlijk ruk, maar Reef Entertainment heeft nu de rechten hier op verkregen en wie weet wat de toekomst gaat brengen.

UK video game publisher Reef Entertainment is very proud to announce it has acquired, from Studiocanal, the exclusive console video game rights for legendary motion-picture 'The Terminator' and the console and PC video game rights for its sequel ' Terminator 2: Judgment Day'.

Reef will create brand new video games based on the sought-after licenses entitled: 'TERMINATORS: THE VIDEO GAME'.

A Reef spokesperson said: 'Here at Reef we are huge fans of 1984 & 1991 Sci-Fi action master-pieces. It's an incredible opportunity and an equally huge responsibility to create a game that does great justice to the motion-pictures. We are studying all aspects and influences of the Terminator universe defined in Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. We have started on our journey and are drawing on all the diverse materials available to produce a high quality, authentic and exciting Terminator video game.'

Reef will provide information on 'TERMINATORS: THE VIDEO GAME' as development continues.
