Maar de 19 jarige Sean Jepson tilde deze trend een level hoger, want hij eiste van zijn ex vriendin dat ze Xbox games voor hem kocht en als ze dit niet zou doen zou hij naakt foto's naar haar familie leden sturen. Deze ex was niet onder de indruk en belde de politie die een inval deed en zelfs kinderporno op zijn computer hebben gevonden.

The 19-year-old's admission to blackmail came after he threatened to distribute sexy photos of the former partner to her family and friends after she dumped him - unless she bought him Xbox games.

The pair had been conducting an online relationship for four years but in fact only met face to face once - in 2012.

The victim had herself sent Jepson the images, during the course of the relationship, which he then tried to use in the backmail when she called it off.

The pictures never were distributed but, instead of coming up with the demanded goods, the woman reported the crime.

Jepson's house was raided by police on May 16 last year, his computer seized as evidence and it was the search of the hard drive which uncovered the child porn.

Jepson, of Helvellyn Road, Norley, was further remanded on bail by Liverpool Crown Court to await sentence on August 15.

He was ordered to sign on the Sex Offenders' Register in the meantime.

He pleaded guilty to blackmailing a woman between November 17, 2012 and May last year involving making unwarranted demands for computer games with menaces.
