Ubisoft has noted that the discontinuation of these servers means that the online features will go offline, in-game news and player stats will be shut down, U-play services will be shut down and all units or rewards will be disabled, and unlockable content (ULC) will be disabled. However, Ubisoft also noted that if you unlock U-play rewards after the closure of the online services, you can contact their Customer Service to be refunded.

The discontinuation of these servers is scheduled to take place starting on Friday, August 8th. The following games, and their corresponding achievements, may be discontinued when that occurs:

- America's Army: True Soldiers (One achievement already discontinued)
- James Cameron's Avatar
- Motionsports Adrenaline
- PowerUp Heroes
- Pure Football (Several achievements already discontinued)
- Shaun White Snowboarding
- Tom Clancy's EndWar (Several achievements already discontinued)
- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 ***
- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent

*** - Ubisoft noted that the multiplayer will still be functional, but some online features have been discontinued. In the case of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, it will be interesting to see what features exactly will be shut down if the multiplayer is to remain functional. If co-op, for instance, were to be disabled then there would be several achievements that would become unobtainable.
