The Leftovers verteld het verhaal van mensen die wiens geliefde opeens voor hun ogen verdwenen en dit lijkt veel op The Rapture waar gelovigen worden opgehaald door god en de niet gelovigen worden achter gelaten, een thema dat op dit ogenblik erg hot is in films en TV Series. Persoonlijk ben ik erg groot fan van deze show die zo ongekend knap doordacht en diepgaand is en een scène in aflevering 6 mij hard raakte omdat het zo confronterende was. Any way, seizoen 2 heeft groen licht gekregen en als je de show nog niet ken HBO zend deze uit en checken want je mist anders echt één van de meeste doordachte TV shows in jaren.
