Twee Hollywood sterren in CoD: Black Ops

Treyarch heeft vandaag bekend gemaakt dat de Hollywood acteurs Ed Harris en Gary Oldman hun stem zullen verlenen aan Call of Duty: Black Ops. Ed Harris maakte vooral eind jaren 80 en midden 90 naam met films als The Rock, The Stand, The Abyss etc etc. Gary Oldman daar tegen is een levende legende, die speelde in zoveel cult films dat de lijst te lang is om op te noemen, maar ik zal een paar van mijn favorieten noemen. De doorgeflipte agent Stansfield in Leon, Drugs dealer en pooier Drexl Spivey in True Romance, on herkenbaar slachtoffer Mason Verger in Hannibal en hardcore Hooligan Bex Bissell in The Firm. ach fook it hier is een BMW reclame waarin hij niemand minder dan de duivel zelf speelt.

Award-Wining Actors Gary Oldman & Ed Harris and Screenwriter David S. Goyer Officially Attached to the Most Anticipated Launch of 2010

(Nasdaq: ATVI) and leading game developer Treyarch, announced today that award-winning actors Gary Oldman and Ed Harris have joined the cast of Treyarch's Call of Duty®: Black Ops, with David S. Goyer having come on board to provide script consultation and story development support. Oldman, known for his work in The Professional, Dracula, Batman: The Dark Knight and most recently, The Book of Eli, will reprise his role as Viktor Reznov from Call of Duty: World at War; and Harris, best known for his roles in films like The Abyss, A History of Violence, Pollock, Apollo 13 and The Right Stuff, will play one of the game's main characters, CIA operative Jason Hudson. Filmmaker David S. Goyer's writing credits include the blockbusters Batman: Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Blade and the upcoming Superman: Man of Steel.
