De laatste tijd is het helemaal in om een remake te maken. Zo werd bekend dat Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath in een HD-jasje wordt gestoken en vandaag werd duidelijk dat ook Beyond Good & Evil als remake in HD zal uitkomen op PSN en Xbox Live. Het zal dus geen simpele overzetting worden als Xbox Original of PS2-titel, maar in HD, met Trophies/Achievements en de hele mikmak. De game uit 2003 wist namelijk goed te scoren bij gamers, maar is erg ondergewaardeerd geweest en daardoor niet bij het grote publiek bekend geworden.
