De reclame slogan van GHB (Geil Heids Browsel) en Rohypnol zou ongeveer zo kunnen gaan: Dankzij *vul één van de twee hier in* kan ook IK een seksleven hebben, ITS AMAZING MIKE!!. Normaal gesproken worden deze drugs gebruikt om vrouwen te misbruiken, alleen had een gamer in Amerika hier een heel andere bedoeling mee. Want zijn vriendin was lastig omdat ze geen aandacht kreeg en deze gast met zijn Xbox One zat te spelen. Zijn vriend kwam op het geniale idee om drugs in haar thee te doen wat ook werkte tot hij het de andere dag bekende. Maar daar over meer in het onderstaande persbericht.

On the fateful night he had invited a friend over for an intense Xbox gaming session. But the gaming party was threatened to be put on hold at around 10 p.m. after the culprit's girlfriend arrived home. Worried she'd be wanting some attention, the gamer confess that he impulsively decided to "roofie" her with drug droplets (the exact drug was not mentioned -- it could be any of several "date rape" drugs) he was in posession of.

He acknowledged in court this week:

I only put four or five drops into her tea... It was stupid, but now I'm on a straight path.

The tactic worked. His girlfriend fell into a deep slumber. She recalls waking up in the afternoon of the next day. She remarked in court:

[The next day] I got up and drove to work although I was nodding off again and again.

Her suspicions were confirmed when the boyfriend confessed what he had done the next day. Unsurprisingly the pair aren't a couple any more. But the girlfriend revealed in court that it was the incident that broke them up, but rather the suspect's own drug abuse.

Drug testing of the victim's hair confirmed that she had been drugged -- but also that this was likely a one-time occurence. The judge weighed the one time nature of the incident, in addition culprit's confession and cooperation with the court. He ultimately decided the best course of action would be a modest fine but no prison time. He commented:

Your girlfriend slept long and deeply, which didn't harm her, but this is certainly a premeditated bodily harm.

The (now ex) boyfriend thanked the judge for his leniency and promised the court that he had been clean for the past 10 months. He indicated that the incident and losing his girlfriend was a wakeup call. He told the court that he would soon begin an apprenticeship to learn a skilled trade and make something of his life.
