Hoewel de vooruitzichten op de nieuwe Ghostbusters film behoorlijk kut zijn, zal Bill Murray toch te zien zijn in de film met een cameo rol. Nu had de website Vulture een interview met hem en daar in prees hij de reboot de hemel in, iets wat natuurlijk niks met zijn salarisstrookje te maken zal hebben.

It kept eating at me, and I really respect those girls. And then I started to feel like if I didn't do this movie, maybe somebody would write a bad review or something, thinking there was some sort of disapproval [on my part]."
