Dat New York de bakermat is van de Hip Hop is algemeen bekend, en ook dat deze muziek stroming opstond in de arme en voor al zwarte achterbuurten als The Bronx. Door dat Disco zijn langste tijd had gehad, kond de Hip Hop zijn weg naar de wereld vinden. Dat is precies waar de Netflix serie The Get Down over gaat, en de onderstaande trailer is fookin dope. Het is helaas nog niet bekend wanneer, deze show te zien zal zijn. Maar iets zegt me dat dit waarschijnlijk deze zomer is.
