Hodges has issued a 17-page order that says the "Blade" star must surrender to authorities and serve his three-year prison sentence.

Using a pair of e-mails from jurors as evidence, Snipes's defense team had attempted to argue, among other things, that the actor did not receive a fair trial because some members of the jury presumed his guilt. It's unclear whether another appeal might be attempted; e-mails seeking comment from one of Snipes's lawyers and his publicist have not been returned.
