Al meer dan vijf jaar kijken de fans van het zeer verslavende Battlefield 2 uit naar het lang verwachte derde deel in de serie. Vandaag dook er de onderstaande screenshot op die van een alpha versie afkomstig zou zijn, sterker deze foto zou thuis zijn gemaakt bij een mederwerker van DICE. Wat denken jullie echt of nep??

BF3Blog.com has come across in image which is said to be from an alpha version of Battlefield 3. The original source is a Swede who told the site that the image was taken at the home of a DICE developer. Although the image most certainly could be fake, BF3Blog.com feels that it looks legit for the following reasons:

The minimap looks more like BF2 than the recent Bad Company 2, and is positioned in the same upper right corner.

Ammo (bottom right) and health indicators (bottom left) are similar to BF2 as well.

The minimap shows two teams, US vs MEC, the same teams as featured in BF2 (MEC was also present in Bad Company 1).

BF3Blog.com continues with "We're also certain that this is not the recently announced Battelfield PLay4Free, as it uses another engine and has a different HUD (video here). Additional details we've dug up on the EXIF data on the image show that the photo was taken very recently, on December 5. Full EXIF data:"
