De website Fearnet.com heeft een top tien gemaakt met moordzuchtige computers uit films, daarbij komen vier van mijn favorieten in voor. Maar naar lang over wegen heb ik toch gekozen voor Hal 9000 (zo heet me Linux Laptop) omdat deze ook veel weg heeft van de Kinect.

HAL 9000 (2001)

"Just what do you think you're doing, Dave?" Who could forget that infamous glowing red eye and calm, menacing voice of Discovery One's on-board computer from Stanley Kubrick's classic 2001? Voiced by Douglas Rain, HAL paved the way for generations of psychotic microchips to come. After all, there's nothing more irritating than an adversary that never raises its voice to tell you it is about to kill you. Respect to the reigning king of the killer computers.
