Electronic Arts was gisteren zo vriendelijk om na een kleine vijf jaar een nieuwe patch voor Battlefield 2142 uit te brengen. Om het leed voor het lange wachten te verzachten (en dat rijmde) hebben ze de Northern Strike expansie er GRATIS!! bij gedaan. Deze game kan je trouwens voor rond de tien Euro uit de knakenbak vissen en ik kan je garanderen dat hij leuk is, want ik heb het jaren lang met de BUSHA Clan bijna dagelijks gespeelt.

The official Battlefield Blog was updated today with news that Battlefield 2142 patch 1.51 has been released into the wild. It contains a handful of fixes, but more importantly it makes the Northern Strike expansion free to all, and also includes some community maps.

Fixes in v1.51:

Added extra account security fixes

Added fix for nVidia drivers to solve tinitus visual effect

Hit detection bug fix: Changed so that latency compensation history takes correct stored positions from buffer
* Updated as_titan_wake.tweak to allow for two attack choppers instead of the one previously allowed

Added Yellow Knife, Molokai and Strike at Karkand 2142 maps made by Jason Brice
