Drie jaar geleden werd bekend dat de MTV serie Scream (gebaseerd op de bekende Horror film trilogie) een derde seizoen zou krijgen en toen werd het heel erg stil, tot er vandaag bekend werd dat er vanaf maandag 8 juli in Amerika op VH1 drie dagen lang een twee uur durende episode te zien zal zijn van het derde seizoen. Naast dit nieuws kwam er ook een trailer naar buiten en deze kan je nu hier onder bekijken.

There is finally some news to report on the upcoming third season of Scream. More than two and a half years since it was renewed, a premiere date and a new network has been set for the show's return.

The horror drama is moving from MTV to VH1 for Season 3, which will be a short six-episode run that will air over three nights beginning July 8. Titled Scream: Resurrection, the upcoming season will be a reset of sorts, with a new cast and setting. The original Ghostface mask from the movies will also be featured for the first time on the TV version of the show.

Look for the 2-hour premiere on Monday, July 8 at 9:00pm on VH1.
