Vandaag is bekend geworden dat ontwikkelaar Just Add Water de EA-franchise Oddworld verder zal uitbaten. De vergeten Oddworld: The Hand of Odd zal weer opgepakt worden door het bedrijf en tevens zal het Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee in HD opnieuw uitbrengen, zoals tegenwoordig vaker gedaan wordt met gouwe ouwen. The Hand of Odd komt alleen op touchscreen-apparaten (iPad, Andriod tablets) en PC/MAC verschijnen en de consolegame Munch's Oddysee komt alleen naar de PS3 en een maand later naar de Xbox 360.

"RTS games and Command & Conquer don't particularly do well today. Why don't we look at it the other way round and say, 'What is today's equivalent?' I hate to say this, but it's the CityVilles and the FarmVilles. We're going to try and apply a bit of that mechanic and see where that takes us."
