Het in Florida gevestigde RealTime Immersive heeft een contract van het Amerikaanse leger binnen geharkt van maar liefst 57 miljoen dollar om met behulp van de CryEngine 3 een trainingsprogramma voor militairen te maken. Het simulatieproduct gaat door het leven als Dismounted Soldier Training System en simuleert situaties op de grond, zee en in de lucht. Het doel is om de soldaten zo goed mogelijk voor te bereiden op mogelijke situaties.
