Afgelopen maandag kon je hier op Eigenwereld.nl lezen dat de Engelse gamers die Battlefield 3 pre-orderde een gratis DLC kregen met betere wapens en ammo. Shit storm ging over het internet en iedereen was boos en aan het bitchen op forums. Ook DICE is dit niet ontgaan en beloofde op hun blog dat deze content die nu de naam Physical Warfare Pack heeft gekregen, later GRATIS voor iedereen te downloaden is. Dus eind goed al goed, toch??

"I would like to start by clarifying that the Physical Warfare Pack is a time-based exclusive," writes DICE general manager Karl Magnus Troedsson. "If you do not pre-order Battlefield 3 at a retailer carrying the Physical Warfare Pack, don't worry. We will unlock the contents of the Physical Warfare Pack for free to all Battlefield 3 players later this year."
