A.D. interview

ZK: So, were you a genre and horror fan always? What drew you to this project?

Renee: I am a fan of cutting edge artists and material. AD is super cutting edge, tests the limits of storytelling and with Ben Hibon who is an absolute visionary I am certain it will groundbreaking.

ZK: With the 'new' interpretations of the zombie culture out there, do you prefer fast or slow zombies...and why?

Renee: I like them both, as long as it feels fresh and inspired, not dated and familiar.

ZK: I see a lot of 'genre' entries in the whole groups history, ranging from Freddy vs. Ghostbusters (go INDIE films!!!), right up to George A. Romero's Land of the Dead and 300... It's a really diverse mix... Was your pursuit of these projects intentional or did it just work out that way?

Renee: I used be an agent for directors, now manage and produce for them, including Ben Hibon so that is how I got involved. In terms of genre in my history, as an agent two films I am very proud of working on include HISTORY OF VIOLENCE & EASTERN PROMISES, both on behalf of David Cronenberg ( a FINE Canadian director!: ZK). I am compelled by stories that move, provoke and inspire audiences no matter what genre.
