Gisteren kon je hier op Eigenwereld.nl al lezen dat er een developers copy van Gears of War 3 is gelekt in de warez scene. Wat op zich een grote ramp is voor Epic en Microsoft, de laatst genoemde heeft in een reactie laten weten dat ze nu onderzoeken wie hier verantwoordelijk voor. Dus het ziet er naar uit dat er binnenkort iemand gecurfkickt gaat worden door een leger van advocaten.

"We have seen the reports of Gears of War 3 content being propped on the Web and working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation," Microsoft said in a statement given to IGN.

"This content is not from a final build and is not representative of what fans will enjoy when the game launches."
