Leonard Nimoy heeft dit weekeinde zijn laatste convention gedraaid, iets wat veel sterren uit Amerikaanse TV series en films gebruiken om nog wat extra cash te verdienen aan hun status en om in touch te blijven (tegen betaling uiteraard) met hun fans. Leonard Nimoy is uiteraard het meest bekend om zijn rol als Mr. Spock in Star Trek, en recent nog als William Bell in Fringe. Leonard die nu de leeftijd van tachtig heeft gehaalt vind het wel welletjes en gaat nu andere dingen doen. Zoals de Vulcans zouden zeggen: Dif-tor heh smusma of te wel Live long and Prosper.

The 80-year-old actor's last visit was to a Creation convention in Rosemont, Illinois, where he talked for an hour and thanked fans for their years of support.

During his presentation, Nimoy told the story of his life, including how when he was a cabdriver. When he departed, Nimoy signed autographs and asked that a cake which had been prepared for him be shared with the fans in the sold-out room. (
