American Horror Story is altijd een hit and mis met zijn seizoenen. Zo is het of fookin a, of gewoon weg zwaar kut. Maar dat neemt niet weg dat het een kijkcijfer kanon is, en daarom heeft FX nu maar liefst drie seizoenen besteld, en nu maar hopen dat dit weer net zo vet gaat worden als AHS 1984.

FX announced today at the winter TCA press tour that American Horror Story has been renewed for three more seasons. The good news, which comes well ahead of its Season 10 return later this year, will take the anthology series through to Season 13.

Co-created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the veteran series continues to captivate audiences, though some installments have been met with decidedly mixed reviews. Still, the franchise remains one of the cable network's top performers and is usually in the conversation come awards season.
