Stargirl is een is de nieuwste CW superhelden serie die tot nu toe wel redelijk vermakelijk is, ondanks de wat cheesy boventoon die deze tiener drama's hebben. Vandaag werd bekend dat de show een tweede seizoen gaat krijgen en dat ze CW nu eerst de serie uitzend, want nu is het eerst DC Universe Streaming Service die het uitzend en dan pas de CW. Maar goed, de show krijgt dus een vervolg.

It was announced today that Stargirl has been picked up for a second season on The CW. The good news comes seven episodes into the superhero drama's freshman run, which is slated conclude in early August.

There will be a slight network change for Season 2, though. While in its current season new episodes debut on the DC Universe streaming service before airing on The CW the following day, for Season 2 the series will be exclusive to The CW.

Based on the DC Comics superhero, Stargirl follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore, who moves to Blue Valley, Nebraska after her mother remarries. After discovering a powerful cosmic staff, Courtney becomes Stargirl and goes on to inspire a group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past

Look for Season 2 of Stargirl in 2021.
