Microsoft heeft tegen over de website The Verge laten weten dat ze stoppen met de productie van de Xbox One X en de One S All-Digital, omdat de Xbox Series X er nu aan komt en dat is vrij snel aangezien deze console pas drie jaar op de markt is. Deze kwam als upgrade voor de gewone Xbox One en de One S All-Digital was een Xbox One S zonder Blu-ray drive. Om het nog wat verwarrender te maken blijven ze nog wel Xbox One S uitbrengen die juist minder krachtiger is dan de Xbox One X.

Pffff, dus heb je een Xbox One X of een One S All Digital en het liefst met doos, dan zou ik hier zuinig op zijn omdat deze wel eens geld waard kan worden alles collectors item.

Microsoft is officially halting production of its Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition consoles. “As we ramp into the future with Xbox Series X, we're taking the natural step of stopping production on Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition,” says a Microsoft spokesperson in a statement to The Verge. “Xbox One S will continue to be manufactured and sold globally.”

Reports of Xbox One X and Xbox One S shortages have surfaced in recent weeks, and there has been an increased demand in Microsoft and Sony's current-gen consoles during the pandemic.
