Het was al een tijdje bekend dat George Lucas van The Phantom Menace een 3D versie zou gaan uitbrengen, en nu is er bekend geworden dat deze vanaf 10 februari 2012 in de Amerikaanse bioscopen gaat draaien. Nederland zal met enkele dagen of weken verschil snel volgen. Dus kunnen we genieten van het stof en puin dat op stuift tijdens de pod race, en de tong van Jar Jar Brinks die vanuit Lucas zijn reet de zaal in slingert. W00t!!
