Al jaren word er gesproken over een TV serie, en deze lijkt er nu dan toch eindelijk te gaan komen.

Only days after DC Entertainment's Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns let slip that 100 Bullets is "going to be a great TV show," Deadline reports that David S. Goyer is attached to write and executive produce an adaptation of the Vertigo crime series for Showtime. Warner Bros. Television is producing.

There's long been rumors of 100 Bullets being adapted as a television series - its length, complexity and serial nature would make a film virtually impossible - with fans and industry watchers searching for clues in comments made by Azzarello and others. Although HBO, the former home of The Sopranos, seemed like the natural fit, Showtime has already shown interest in comic-book properties with its upcoming adaptation of Chew.
